General Event Questions

The majority of attendees are industry executives working in all areas of the clinical development field (operations, regulatory, outsourcing, medical director, etc.) with an interest in drug and device development in China and the surrounding North Asia region. Investigators, government officials and hospital executives in the clinical area also attend.
We specifically target for attendance of 350-400 senior-level development executives.
The greater majority of the presentations are given in English, however some of the sessions that cater to Chinese domestic topics will be conducted in Mandarin.
Simultaneous translation is provided for all of the main conference sessions taking place on days two and three. The workshops on the first day will not have translation.
No, there are currently no plans to stream the event.
Yes, all registered attendees will be given a unique website address, username and password on-site at the conference that they may use to log into the system to download the presentation slides in PDF format within two weeks of the event’s conclusion.
Please bring your photo ID and business card to the registration desk when you arrive at the venue to pick up your badge.
The dress code for the meeting is from business casual to business.
Yes. Once you are fully registered, you will receive periodic updates about the program agenda, special events we have planned as well as other information to help you maximize your attendance at the meeting.
Yes, there are a number of special events such as cocktail receptions and sponsored dinner galas that attendees will be able to join at no additional cost. Please view the agenda for more details.

Your registration fee includes access to all the workshop and main conference sessions, on-site materials, light breakfast snacks, networking refreshment breaks, lunches, and networking cocktail reception.
If your company is a domestic Chinese company with no offices outside of China, you may be eligible for a special discounted rate. Please send an email to eric.lu@lycheegroup.com for more information on how to register or to check your eligibility.
Our preferred method for payment is in USD via credit card or bank transfer. We will also accept cash on-site, if necessary.
Yes, we accept payment in RMB via Bank Transfer or Alipay. If you are interested in paying in Chinese RMB, please contact Eric Lu at eric.lu@lycheegroup.com. Necessary government taxes and fees will be added to the payment amount.
If you need an official Chinese Fapiao, you must pay via RMB Bank Transfer or Alipay to our Chinese entity. Please send an email to eric.lu@lycheegroup.com and we will have the invoice emailed to you. We can only issue a Chinese Fapiao if you have made payment in RMB.
All payments are non-refundable. You can transfer your attendance to a colleague or friend or use your registration for credit towards a future Lychee Group event.
We do not offer one-day passes to attend ChinaTrials.
Yes, if you are not a Chinese citizen, you will very likely need a visa to China. Please check your country’s Chinese consulate for full details.
We can provide you with an invitation letter that you may use to apply for your visa to China. Please email us at hidy.fu@lycheegroup.com to request an invitation letter. Only registered and paid attendees will be issued an invitation letter.
No, you must book your hotel accommodations separately.
Yes, we do have a special rate for attendees of the conference at the conference hotel. To request the form to book at the special rate, please email us at hidy.fu@lycheegroup.com.
We allow a very limited number of press members to attend the conference on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to request a press pass, please send an email to jon.liong@lycheegroup.com along with your press credentials so we may consider your attendance.
